History of Education is a UK-based journal that publishes original research in the history of education from all parts of the world. It is associated with the UK History of Education Society. Articles deal with formal and informal education, including – but not restricted to – the history of schooling at all levels, universities, youth movements, adult education, educational ideas and biography, educational reform, and the politics of education. We welcome submissions on all periods of history, including the ancient and medieval worlds.

Teaching Philosophy is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to the practical and theoretical discussion of teaching and learning philosophy. Since 1975 it has provided a unique forum for the exchange of ideas about the challenges faced by philosophers in the classroom. It publishes articles and case studies on theoretical issues, classroom strategies, experimental courses, student counseling, and teaching and learning assessment. It also publishes reviews and review articles on new books, instructional media, and online resources.

Metaphilosophy publishes articles and book reviews stressing considerations about philosophy and particular schools, methods or fields of philosophy. The intended scope is very broad: no method, field or school is excluded.

Language Teaching is the essential research resource for language professionals providing a rich and expert overview of research in the field of second-language teaching and learning. It offers critical survey articles of recent research on specific topics, second and foreign languages and countries, and invites original research articles reporting on replication studies and meta-analyses. The journal also includes regional surveys of outstanding doctoral dissertations, topic-based research timelines, theme-based research agendas, recent plenary conference speeches, and research-in-progress reports. A thorough peer-reviewing procedure applies to both the commissioned and the unsolicited articles.

Language Teaching Research is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research within the area of second or foreign language teaching.
